Reviews from actual traders
It's wonderful!
So far it seems to work well
Can't set limit orders
the fees for filling the orders are outrageous, because you pay a fee for each account from where you purchase the coin...
Very user friendly
They are starting to add coins a little earlier, they need to do like other exchanges and add a high risk area so they can speed up even more.
Not being able to modify stop losses and take profits is an advantage to Coinbase. Not to the investor. It would be nice to follow like a trailing stop loss or modify the Take Profit numbers
i feel like there could be more advanced options for beginners on a longer-term promotional priced plan offering more tools and opportunities to learn and be confident to progress. i understand that this could be taking advantage of, but i also feel like there are ways to manage that to ensure its beginner only. aside from that i love the platform and enjoy it. It's the only one i use.
Meh
no p/l on tradeview
customer service is useless and absolutely horribole
It won't let me trade
bro this is so good you dont understand! 0.6% fees or somthing is so good
Worst customer service and straight thieves. Coinbase REFUSES to allow me to pay with cash for an outstanding charge that I had no idea existed. Coinbase didn't reach out once to me and instead, STOLE my absolute BEST INVESTMENT POSITIONS while ignoring the worst positions and literally stole my $XRP that had an average share price of $0.33 per token. When I noticed they did this a month later, I reached out to them because my account was frozen. They said I owed money still. So, I transferred $5,000 into my account and they unlocked my account, but refused and too this day, will NOT give me my shares back. COINBASE DOES NOT GIVE A F*** ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN BUY CRYPTO ANYWHERE, DON'T BUY HERE.
Great brokerage
it's good enough, especially in america where your choices are few
It’d helping a lot I just need to learn how to begin and get good
Coinbase has been my go-to for crypto in the U.S. for nearly a decade now. I've really only ever had 2 complaints, and the new integration with TradingView 'almost' completely solves both of them.
One was the lack of tools for advanced traders in the spot trading terminal, such as draggable SL and TP's. And the second was the slow system. I've never quite understood how Coinbase, as big as they are, lack in performance of their website compared to other newer competitors who are much younger in the space. But, maybe that's due to much higher customer traffic and has more impact on the servers. However more customers should mean more revenue for the beefiest hardware and networking out there. Especially considering they have higher fees than most other exchanges. I don't have a problem paying the fees, if I'm seeing my contributions at work by a constantly improving platform. There too could be the argument their platform is more secure, so runs through more security funnels and checkpoints, therefore impacting performance. These are things I do not know, so not going to bash it too much, or rant on as if I do know. Just simply my feedback from what I've experienced.
A new, third complaint, that has stemmed since the integration with TradingView, is not being able to view "Positions" for spot trading. I do not trade any futures or perpetuals, but would like to be able to see my spot positions as this is a major part of managing trades.
But to conclude, being able to do all my trading almost entirely through TradingView now has been a game changer. I now have the simple yet effective trading terminal that's mandatory for advanced traders, and can avoid ever needing to navigate the slow, clunky website! So... 4/5 stars! They do pro actively work to improve on user feedback, so hopefully 5 stars coming in the near future!
