HOW DO I OPEN A DEMO ACCOUNT SINCE IM ON A LIVE ACCOUNT AND I WANT TO SWITCH TO DEMO
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. At the moment, IG demo accounts aren't available directly on TradingView — they’re only accessible via our IG platform or MT4.
Since you're currently on a live account and would like to switch to demo, here's what you can do:
Log in to your IG account via our platform.
From there, you can open and use a demo account to practise trading in a risk-free environment.
Alternatively, you can also access a demo account through MT4.
If you're looking to trade live on TradingView:
Make sure you have a free TradingView account.
Go to the ‘Trading Panel’ at the bottom of the TradingView platform.
Select IG as your broker and connect your existing account or open a new one.

I added funds and when I did I wanted to trade on trading view, my money is not there but my money is on the mt4 app.
Can't figure out how to do get my money of mt4 and on to the ig account on trading view

Cannot make trade. The user experience is terrible for connecting to Tradingview. The function actually is not ready and non-tested. Many technical issues.

Really great to be able to finally trade IG on TradingView. Would be good to see the number of markets increase and, if possible, provide the option for futures months as well as DFB.

Sometimes may have disconnected issues and may not sync the most updated account position status, still have room for improvement.

Trailing stops don't work. Wide spread.
Disappointing offering of CFDs directly via TradingView. Have to go to IG to open most positions :(
