Tradovate is frustratingly inconsistent. Imagine spotting your perfect setup during peak NYSE hours--- 9:30-12---only to find they've scheduled maintenance right then. This has actually happened multiple times in March 2025 alone. While they boast some of the lowest margin rates in the industry, the trade off is reliability. Their integration with Trading view has had several hiccups recently, leading to missed opportunities during crucial moments. Yes they specialize in futures---but you'd expect more polish for a platform that focuses on just one thing. When it works, it's great. But when it doesn't, it can cost you real money. If you're okay with occasional disruptions, Tradovate might still be a fit. Just don't expect perfection.
