Hey guys, sorry for the inactivity, been doing a lot of fast day trades with options so haven't been able to post much. Here are 2 great options plays for the beginner and more advanced traders:
(1) Advanced trader:
Option: 132c 12/24
Charts: 5min & 15min using the 15ema and 50ema
Play: At 9:30am watch for a gap up above $131 buy the option ASAP and set a stop loss of 10%. I'm expecting a run to $134-135 by tomorrow close however, if you're fast enough you can close this trade by 9:45-10:15am with a quick 30-50% profit
(2) Beginner trader:
Option: 140c 01/15
Charts: 1day, 4hr, and 1hr using the 25ema and 50ema
Play: Buy the option tomorrow at open and set a 20% stop loss, use the $132.60 (ish) level as a pivot point, above that point keep holding, however if we fall below sell the option. Use the 25ema as trend line to determine if we will keep climbing or if the breakout will fail (if it falls below it sometime later this week or next week) and use the 50ema for a bounce
Note: I will be playing both if momentum builds and volume confirms a breakout. We need a runaway gap in order for both of these to pop off and hit 50-100% profit :)
