The Digital Pound Foundation, the independent forum that designed the digital pound, has announced the expansion of its board of directors, joining founding members Susan Friedman (Ripple) and Richard Ells (Electroneum), two of the Foundation's founding team members. Policy and regulatory expert Jannah Patchay, who is also the foundation's head of policy, joins the board with immediate effect, and payments industry expert Phil Kenworthy joins the board as a non-executive director.
