Besides that, I think Charlie decided to make great exit after he knew (as insider) about BCH going to be listed on Coinbase. As for me, it confirms that Bitcoin Cash would outperform Litecoin in the long term. BCH has 2x max troughtput of LTC (so beats LTC in low fees niche), more human, media and other resources for growth, ASIC manufacturer support and better brand. That's why Lee opposed BCH so aggresively, hoping to destroy the brand.
