BCU is about to commence drilling at their most promising hole to date. The company, and it's JV partner Cordoba Minerals are definetely overlooked by the market, despite the fact that they are about to drill a very promising hole at the Kabba project near Kingsman Arizona. The project is a couple of miles north of the historic underground Kabba Au-Pb-Ag-V-Cu-Mo mine (mindat.org/loc-106210.html).
The water samples coming from the K20 pre-collar work show 3.5 times the amount of Cu, Au and Mo of previous holes, indicating that the K20 target could become THE discovery hole for BCU. Earlier they intercepted copper mineralization of 0.4% in core drillings, and found so-called native (pure) copper at the project, these holes where drilled not where the explorer wanted but according to the wishes of geos from Kennecott/Rio Tinto. The core drilling will commence 4-7 days upon exchange approval of the financing - could within 1 or 2 weeks . The Private placement is at 0.07 CAD with warrants at 0.105 CAD which the holder is obligated to exercise if the share price is over 0.14 CAD for 30 consecutive days prior to warrant expiry (Aug 27, 2019).
The geological theories at play here are relatively novel, but Stanford-educated chief geologist and CEO of Bell Copper, Tim Marsh, is a respected figure in mining. He could easily have worked at any major, yet he chose to pursue discovery at Kabba. R. Friedland has financed this drilling through his private company HPX exploration which has a majority stake in Cordoba Minerals (CDB.V). R. Friedland is known for his relentless approach to exploration and is likely going to pursue this project as relentlessly as Tim Marsh.
CDB.V now has a equity stake in BCU.V and an earn in joint venture agreement whereby they can gain 80% of Kabba through exploration expenditure of $17 million the next 7.5 years.
If K20 reveals noteworthy copper mineralization, exploration efforts are likely to be accelerated.
BCU with it's tight share structure, +35% insider ownership and miniature market cap of approximately 3.5 million CAD could explode upon announcement of drill results.
Look no further than Sokoman Iron Corp (SIC.V) to see what can happen when an overlooked, yet well-managed junior explorer drills a nice hole.
