The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is a shipping and trade index created by the London-based Baltic Exchange. It measures changes in the cost of transporting various raw materials, such as coal and steel. It is reported around the world as a proxy for dry bulk shipping stocks as well as a general shipping market bellwether.
BDRY is an ETF that trades on the Baltic Capesize Time Charter-Base Ticker for each sequential month.
