What is bitcoin seasonality
Hello freinds,
I will publish a few education focus ideas on Bitcoin seasonality.
Questions.
1) What are market seasons?
2) Why it is happening?
3) How to spot season change?
4) Will ever be altseason like in 2017?
Answers.
1) Generally. It shows who is in charge. BTC or alts. You got four examples what can happen. First, BTC season in bull market when BTC outperforms alts. Second, BTC season in bearmarket BTC bleeds less than alts. Third, altseason in bullmarket, alts outperforms BTC. Fourth, altseason in bearmarket, alts bleed less than BTC. (It is quite rare)
2) Hard and very complex question. Example: Simply if you buy BTC you choose a safest "bet" in crypto. But after some time you see that other cryptocurencies present to you more opportunities, so you do not leave a market, and rather buy some alts. When a lot of people think this way alts will pumping. So these are cycles of fear and gread in markets.
3) When new money flows into the market, it is happening in this order (generally): Bitcoin -> Ethereum -> Large caps (top ten) -> Mid caps (top 20-50) -> Small caps (top 100) -> Micro caps (xxxx)
So when we see that Ethereum is showing strenght over Bitcoin, it is one sign that altseason can be on the horizon. When you see similar situation on larger caps it is another good sign of future altseason. Plus more... :) (I will publish them later to put them in context)
4) I think it will be. Why? Because human greed in endless. More greed, more violent altseason.
Chart is here just to ilustrate my point. In is just like day and night. They are changing in similar order. :)
In next idea i will show why alts and btc will not hit top in same time. :)
