A report released by the Ukrainian independent polling agency "Rating Group" on the 21st showed that 91% of Ukrainians firmly refused to accept US-Russia negotiations without Ukraine's participation. 64% of respondents support direct negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, and this trend continues to grow. In addition, 83% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine can only agree to a ceasefire if security is guaranteed.
The easing of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is the focus of this week. US National Security Advisor Waltz said on Friday that he expects Ukrainian President Zelensky to sign a mineral agreement with the United States as part of efforts to end the war in Ukraine, while US President Trump said Ukraine has no cards to play.

US National Security Advisor Waltz said on Friday that he expects Ukrainian President Zelensky to sign a mineral agreement with the United States as part of efforts to end the war in Ukraine, while US President Trump said Ukraine has no cards to play.
Trump on Wednesday denounced Zelenskiy as a "dictator" and warned him that he must move quickly to reach a peace deal with Russia or risk having no country to rule, deepening the rift between the two leaders. The sudden change in attitude from the United States, Ukraine's most important supporter, shocked European officials and raised concerns that Kiev could be forced to accept a peace deal that favors Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskiy had previously said Trump was caught in a "bubble of disinformation," but later softened his tone, saying he hoped the United States would be pragmatic. Zelenskiy on Wednesday rejected a U.S. demand that Ukraine provide $500 billion in mineral resources to repay Washington's wartime aid, saying the U.S. has provided far less than that so far and that no specific security guarantees were provided in the agreement.
Speaking at the White House on Friday, Trump criticized Zelenskiy but did not make negative comments about Putin. "I talked very well with Putin, but I didn't talk very well with Ukraine," he said. "They don't have any cards to play, but they are tough."
The German government said on Friday that Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Zelenskiy spoke by phone and agreed that Ukraine must participate in future peace talks. Zelenskiy said on social media: "It is important that the United States stands with us. Only through unity can a strong and lasting peace be achieved.
