Quick update since our last discussion.
Proof of work coins (PoW) include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and a few more.
Proof of stake coins (PoS) include Cardano, Tron, VeChain, Neo and many more altcoins
You also get hybrid coins such as Dash, DCR, OKCash and a few others
You also get proof of burn (PoB) which is XRP
In terms of the bill:
An updated version of the bill now specifies that only people who provide digital asset transfers would be treated as a broker, according to a copy of the draft bill obtained by CoinDesk and later posted online. In other words, the language now does not explicitly include decentralized exchanges, but it also doesn’t explicitly exclude miners, node operators, software developers or similar parties.

Note
Just to clarify, the current bill AS IS would be great for BTC, ETH and only a few others. Other coins and even exchanges might want to take their innovation elsewhere.
