This is a speculative forecast for Bitcoin made by Michael Saylor. His model predicts a 13 million Bitcoin by 2045, which is 20 years from now. This rough outline I created shows what that could hypothetically look like if we observe its historical price action logarithmically and project it into the future along a similar curve. If this were to happen, it appears that Bitcoin could enter a “supercycle” where the price rises exponentially and steadily over the next 20 years, with some major catalysts producing prolonged bear markets in 2030, and 2038, respectively. Perhaps war, attacks on the Bitcoin network, quantum computing hacks, or something else*, would trigger these bear markets, but Bitcoin being resilient would eventually recover and soar to new heights as its intrinsic value and scarce supply support its recovery. This is just a rough sketch taken from a previous fractal pattern, which won’t repeat exactly the same of course but could give a general outline on volatility in the future. When viewed on a linear timeline,(not visible on this chart), Bitcoin is very bullish over the next 5 years, perhaps reaching $200,000+ by EOY 2026, and $3,000,000+ by 2030, and eventually much higher from 2035-2045. The value of the dollar dropped 34% between 2008 and 2025, and over the next 5 years lose another 14%. By 2030, the USD will have lost 43% of its value since 2008. Global adoption, increased demand, institutional and government investment, supply shock from countries accumulating, limited coins could send prices soaring.
