What will the BTC price be in the near future? I don't really know!
Should I buy or sell? Up to your perception of the market sentiment.
What I can underline is the progressive change in a BTC driven market.
New opportunities for Altcoin holders have opened the possibility of opposite price movements for some Altcoins compared to the price movement of Bitcoin.
Coinbase has started a sort of Tezos Bank-Like Deposit. Holders of Tezos will be rewarded an interest on the amount of coins held just by holding those coins.
And Tezos is just the first one. For some this might just be a little thing in the Crypto Horizon but for me it means only one thing "Altcoin Season has just began".
More and more Altcoin uses and opportunities will soon come to a life changing completely the Crypto World and bringing new needs to Crypto holders.
Soon will be much easier to lend and borrow Cryptos, banks will take the crypto world seriously and they will start to apply to some of the existing Cryptos the same uses they now apply to FIAT.
2019 is the year of Altcoins, BTC will sit on a side for some time leaving part of its space to Altcoins.
Which Altcoins are more likely to be the protagonists of 2019 and beyond?
In my opinion Tezos (because is considered the successor of BTC, has a great community of followers and is technically good), XRP (Because is a sort of "non crypto" in contrast with all the other coins, so its role is to be the opposite or the alternative to the rest of coins) - I believe in dualism -
Stellar (Because of its great relationship with IBM and because I believe is a great coin with a great community, lots of followers and much more), Link and ADA are promising but they should come up with realistic application even for the Mass, they are too difficult to understand at the moment for the majority of users, but if they became more usable and effective they can have a future (they have great developers behind, what they need is better Marketing and Simplicity in their uses).
A part from the above the rest of Altcoins is difficult to understand at the moment and Litecoin is too close to Bitcoin to be a good alternative, it has already been surpassed by other coins. Ethereum is the standard for blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system with smart contract functionality at the moment, but much more has already been done in this field so I expect the standard to become obsolete in the near future.
Don't forget to develop your own opinion and to enjoy your life regardless of Bitcoin and the rest of the Crypto World.
Have a great weekend everybody.
