Alt Season is the period many alt coins gain dominance against bitcoin while bitcoin losses its dominance. Reference to the last bear market, we notice a similar trend taking place, the fractals are very simple to understand. We see that when bitcoin leads the market alt coins loss a significant amount of dominance to bitcoin which is normal and the more bitcoin violently takes charge the more the altcoins loss dominance to bitcoin , which sounds like a no brainer. with a rally of over 300% and 65% dominance, altcoins have capitulated in bitcoin terms The question remains when Alt coin ? first we have to understand the following assumptions from the fractal
1. The more bitcoin rallies, the harder altcoins will respond some will rally 100x more than expected. 2. Altcoins rally when bitcoin moves sideways 3. Altcoins rally after bitcoins pullback significantly 4. altcoins will continue to breakdown in btc when bitcoin moves violently up until it cools down and doesn't make 5% gains every hour and maybe just remains flat for a week or two thats when alt coins rally hardest.
We believe the above to be true because logically, bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency project and is on all exchanges; it is the medium cash flows into cryptocurrency vis-a-vis. Therefore this means that for the bear market to be officially over, bitcoin has to rally hard as the influx of money back into the system is through bitcoin. That is why it is the last to capitulate and the first to rally.
Now that bitcoin has seemed to be in a retrace, we assume that the price of altcoins will rise astronomically and the dominance of bitcoin will decrease, altcoins are inversely proportional to bitcoin, but bitcoin remains the supreme leader into altcoins and out of them.
ALtcoins are Ethereum(ETH) ,Ripple(XRP), Binance (BNB), etc
It is also important to note altcoins that rallied before bitcoin did , which are Litecoin, EOS and BNB are in full retrace even before bitcoin and might not rally with other altcoins since they need to complete their retrace to the 0.618 fib level like bitcoin.
Note
Most Alts are capitulating lately, and some devs have lost capital even to pump their coin. That leaves the ever lastly question which of the altcoins will survive. There must have been some mistake in our analysis the current rally of bitcoin our of the bear market is more similar to the 2011 rally and not the same with the 2015 rally. After the ATL in 2011, the price rallied hard but corrected and consolidated around fib 0.618 for a while. I guess when bitcoin starts consolidating at this area, we will see rallies from alts.
About 4Billion tether have been printed, and no massive burns yet. This means that money is on the sideline waiting for less risky and top assets to make gains on and since bitcoin has had its run its left for alts to show massive gains.
