BTC Gonna Crush

Meitar Fadida – When we hear that altcoin season is approaching, we imagine a vision where alts are skyrocketing…
But who said Bitcoin gets to join the party?

If we look at Bitcoin's recent behavior, it seems to be struggling to rise properly. Its movements lack strength, and the upward trends feel forced – a lot of effort with little result. When the market is in a true rally, we're used to seeing much more convincing momentum.

Another interesting point – Bitcoin's dominance index has been on a downward trend for a while. Historically, this could indicate that an "altcoin season" is coming, but it might also suggest that Bitcoin is simply losing strength in favor of altcoins.

On **December 18**, when the interest rate was last lowered, the expectation was that we wouldn’t see further rate cuts anytime soon—and that’s exactly what happened.
Additionally, they promised that by **2027**, the inflation rate would stand at around **2%**, signaling that over the next two years, we might see significant interest rate hikes.
The **Consumer Confidence Index** has been negative for two consecutive months, and even the good reports feel like pressing the gas pedal in neutral.

Right now, Bitcoin doesn’t seem to be trying to build a strong upward trend. It feels more like it's stuck in a state of indecision, which could lead to consolidation rather than continued growth.

In my opinion, it’s like being blind to reality, looking at everything and saying, *“From here, we’re definitely going up,”* even though no solid reason has been established.

**The agreements Trump signed could be bad for Bitcoin in my eyes for several reasons:**
- The whole issue of capital shifting from crypto to AI due to the agreements with China related to AI.
- Of course, all the strict regulations Trump proposed, including investigative committees, and more…
- Regulatory tracking of Bitcoin (which undermines the entire appeal of anonymous investing in crypto).
- And most importantly, AI will enhance banks' algorithmic trading, making people see less value in Bitcoin.
