right now my automated ICT strategy works for intraday 2-7 minute / silverbullet moves profitable.
but there has to be a method to tell pine script to only take trades on the higher 1-2 hour time frame when a certain event happend on the daily time frame.
so on bitcoin for example simply saying trade short if price is above prior days high is not a good filter (even if backtest shows 185% profit)
a better filter would be if price goes back into the short trend (maybe identified by a 200 sma)
or if price moved up fast or if there was a trendline break
in any case forex/crypto trading seams to be highly news driven, as fair value areas most of the time dont fill you have to be willing to enter after a strong move.
so i am using the FVG strategy more as alert system, so maybe like on march 12 we might see an inverse FVG that will push the bitcoin price 5000 points in the next weeks
