Some rules I have learned in the time I am trading know. And really it cost me a lot of money because I have traded out of fear. I can definitely say that I have learned that everyday everything can happen and that everyday is RANDOM. But putting all the days in context there are patterns in human behavior. I read in the book of Mark Douglas a quote that says. As a trader you trade your beliefs. Think about that for a moment.
What that says is; When you believe in buying pullbacks in the market than most likely you miss yourself a lot of fantastic chances. Because your mind is attached to look and wait for pullbacks. When the price is in a strong trend you will don't trust it and say to yourself oh this likely will not hold it will fall soon.. And what happens is that prices keep rosing keep rosing and you miss a lot of chances..
The funny thing is what you read in books is THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND AND TRADE IN DIRECTION OF THE TREND. But when prices keep rising fast and high as a trader you start distrusting what you see on the chart. And say to yourself a I don't buy in price will soon crash. And you start looking at things in the chart that will confirm what you believe!!
O man I never understood it but it is all clear know. It has cost me a lot of money because I traded out of fear.. FEAR of losing, FEAR of avoiding pain..
My rules for trading are + Mindset. 1. The trend is really your friend.... 2. Everything and anything can happen.... 3. Every trade is random.... 4. I am going to lose & that's OK!! 5. I have to learn to become a professional LOSER (think about that for a second) 6. When I am in a winning trade I don't look for moments to take profit. NO I look for moments to buy more!! 7. Being NORMAL will not make me MONEY!
Look in the chart for more information...
There is this strong trend on Bitcoin.. I think it will ride on thill 49K..
Because some moments earlier I thought price could fall down but is hold support and rise strongly up..
But the be honest I hope it will soon ' crash' 20/30 % to be getting some nice buy in moments again.
