According to an influencer on Weibo, Canaan Creative founder ZHANG Nangeng revealed several points about the business progress during the Q2 financial report meeting.According to ZHANG, the company's inventory has been basically emptied in the second quarter, and the mining machines to be produced in the third quarter have also been booked. Now, the company begins to accept orders for delivery in the fourth quarter and early next year. He also disclosed that performance test of the chip jointly produced by Canaan and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) is beyond expectations. It is expected that a large number of deliveries will begin in the middle of the fourth quarter (no specific performance indicators are disclosed). In addition, ZHANG said that his company has recently won orders from two major Kazakhstan firms and participated in bidding for the construction of a number of large mining farms with an installed capacity of over 10,000 mining machines.
