DXY big picture view - 36 years!
This is a massive big picture view. It shows the complete market action since the conception of DXY. About 36 years worth! During this time, a relatively well defined level of support and resistance has been laid out and we are currently about 4% away from resistance. Last time we tested resistance was in 2020, starting in March, and spent a couple months breaking up and down until finally getting rejected late May. It made a high of about 104 and went as low as 89 and now we are at 95, almost exactly halfway between the two. It may seem like we are at a make or break point, and with little upside potential and massive downside potential, it may seem obvious where we are headed, but really the point of this chart is to show this big picture view in more objective terms and I hope this helps in some way.
