Just take a look at the DXY. Always, as time moves on, the picture gets clearer. Patience is important.
Futility - Its futile trying to predict where it will go. Some may say 'Up'. Some may say 'Down'. Once you develop a 'Conclusion', you will eventually tie yourself down. My advice is, never try to predict. Instead, have an open mind. This way, you can appreciate better the possibilities whenever new information is received. Who cares if it goes up/down as long as you can make a gain.
Indicators - I use them at first as with all beginners. When you stop using them, perhaps you began to realize something about them. Put it this way, this market belongs to the Big Institutional Banks and I am certain they do not use it to trade. But they certainly can see how you would have trade.
At such juncture, macroeconomics comes into play. It would be wise to know something about the economy to have an idea where things will go.
Lastly, 99% of all IDEAS here are JUNKS. If you think you can learn something here or get some trading advice, you are going to be disappointed.
