Quite a bullish signal on the Bill Williams Alligator Indicator showing that it's starting to swallow its prey. I don't usually use this indicator but from what I remember when it closes its mouth it's like a golden or death cross.
IMO moving averages are the kind of thing where by the time you notice the cross over it's already too late and you should have already had a position built using elliot wave signals. I'm at a point where I've already got all my trading done for probably several weeks and am looking for ways to occupy my time such as validating my trade ideas using things I don't normally check, like this alligator indicator.
Doing so I might come across something that will be useful for timing the exit. It does look like sticking with the alligator all the way to the next bearish cross might be a good way to let profits run as long as possible. I'll make a note to check on this before selling at the end of the next bull run.
