The most probable reason would be a proper Bitcoin dump. An appropriate answer to all the hate against Ethereum. Needless to say, that especially those involved in Ethereum would have preferred a cooperative coexistence. But that hope is long gone. Let the Crypto Wars begin...Note
UPDATE: IDEA CANCELLED!!! Didn´t work out according to plan. Dopped out of circle... Goin DOAwn again.
