The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is a momentum indicator used in technical analysis to identify changes in the strength, direction, momentum, and duration of a trend in a stock or other asset's price. It's essentially a bar chart that visually displays the relationship between two moving averages of a price series.
