For those familiar with astronomy, the new moon began on 02/10/2024 at 18:49:14, located in the constellation of Virgo or in the Chinese culture, within the 28 mansions of the "Vermilion Bird of the South". According to Chinese tradition, the sun is associated with Yang (fire) and the moon with Yin (water), so during the new moon, there's a symbolic clash between fire and water, as Yang and Yin interact.Note
Annular Solar Eclipse (ring of fire)
On Oct. 2, 2024, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun, casting its shadow across parts of Earth. An annular solar eclipse will be visible in parts of South America, and a partial solar eclipse will be visible in parts of South America, Antarctica, North America, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean, including Hawaii.
