Fundamental Analysis:

Wednesday , 22th of August

18:00 GMT (21:00 Bulgarian time)

FOMC Meeting Minutes

Here I expect to see some volatility throughout all markets, so if your positions are giving some good profits I would advice you to either close part of the positions or place your Stop Loss at Breakeven.

Friday, 24th of August[/I]

From 12:30 GMT (15:30 Bulgarian time) to 14:00 GMT (17:00 Bulgarian time)

We are starting this session with the USD Durable Goods Orders report which is expected at -0.5% from a previous 0.8% reading. This is a huge difference and I believe that it won’t be confirmed. For sure there will be a difference, but I believe that we will see a softer one and a reading of around -0.1%. This would give the USD a boost as the -0.5% is already priced in on the market. Expect volatility!

After that we have a speech from the FED Chairman - Powell at Jackson Hole. He will be talking about monetary policy and other important goals and targets for the FED, so listen carefully as you might find hints about the long term trajectory on which the USD will be headed. I will avoid trading during that time and also I will close part of my positions before the speech.

Our team wishes you a great and most importantly profitable week! :)
