#013** DCA GBPUSD Short

110
Closed GBPCAD for a breakeven including 1cent commission to open GBPUSD short.

Price moved a bit away from my area of value on the pull back wave, but its ok. I have set the sell limit at the pullback for when price pulls back to my area of value.

I have set the TP to somewhere before the swing low of the previous downward move.

No SL set as usual.

Shall see what happens.

I already have bought CAD on CADCHF I can't be buying CAD again but I keep forgetting about such stuff and just focus on the price movement and enter on it.

GBPUSD is going downwards also and it also contains GBP just like GBPCAD, so I think this is a good candidate to short.

Note
1st Sell Limit triggered. 1st position set to 1cent profit, and 2nd position also set to 1st position's BE point.

Note
going for overall breakeven attempt if 2nd limit sell gets triggered.

Best current scenario is 1 profit 1 loss 1 breakeven resulting in breakeven or extremely small loss due to commission and slippage.

Note
2nd sell limit triggered. Am going for safest choice by 1 profit 1 loss 1 breakeven leading to overall breakeven or extremely small loss due to commission of 1cent per position.

Managed to achieve overall breakeven in the 3 positions opened. 1 profit, 1 loss and 1 breakeven equating to overall breakeven because the 1 profit covers the 1 loss, and 1 breakeven is just that, breakeven. However, I would still say it is an extremely small loss because I haven't account for the commission for each position that amounts to 3 cents total.

Even though price has went in our favour in the end, but it is ok because we can't win it all. I have to prioritise my mental state before profits. As long as I can hold it out for long and keep a healthy mind and tenacity, I would be profitable in the long run.
