Polygon Matic Playing for BlueChip status: Ecosystem Stack Wars
Matic and Polygon Labs making strong headwinds into "a la carte" ecosystem stack development. Seems that this is the future of how blockchain will be implemented to real/high value/future use cases
Matic is focusing on providing infrastructure (MiddleWare) to Application level builders (companies/dapps/Chains)
They are offering rollup functionality inside of their ecosystem that offers modular access to different builds.
Polygon labs is going after clients (companies devs apps and chains) with the ability to allow them to make their own specific rollup based on their exact needs.
The main goal is to finally create a polygon settlement layer that connects all of their ecosystem chains in liquidity and processing (the interoperability layer) long term not happening yet).. this is polygon 2.0

Polygon POS L1 - speed, cost
CDK - (chain dev kit) allows companies to create what they want of the tech that polygon has built
example:
IMX - large gaming platform chain and development team; using polygon for their chain and the chains they build for other games in the future
Astar- japan app focused project looking to offer build services in Japan based on all tech. (using polygon for their ZK rollup tech stack)
