NAS Outlook 4/24

My view hasn't changed from last week. Looking for those equal lows to be grabbed then for price to chase a new high.

thats the reaction ive been looking for all day. interesting how close to end of the day it came, market not giving opportunity for participation. I am pretty confident it puts in a new high from here. However will not be holding this position that long.

to close early or not to close early?

You need to see open profit as risk in an of itself, and weigh whether or not to risk what you have gained in open profit for what you stand to gain to final TP.

Things to consider are:
- confidence in the overall trade setup/completion likelyhood
- prior profitability for the day/week/etc
- "trade fatgue"
- any predetermined rules you have for taking profit

ultimately there is no right answer. it is a function of your own personal penchant for risk, and trading style.

80% of last position closed manually, 20% remaining till final TP level.

full TP hit, trade collapsed. quite pleased with my participation on NAS this week. not every trade will be like this, and not every week will present such opportunity. however it feels to be able to identify and participate when such opportunity does present.
