The intent of Ichimoku Kinko Hyo , is to tell with once glance the state of the market. The sentiment for Natural Gas is Bearish.
With Price below Kumo , a trend follower will only look for selling opportunities.
Is this Commodity Trending ?
This is when all the other lines matter.
Trend continuation is usually associated with low volatility. Over the recent period , since the swing high, there has been marked downside volatility. This is evidenced with dramatic expansion of the Bollinger bands. As such, there should be a period of reduced volatility ie. a consolidation of price.
This is reflected in the flat Future Kumo, and the Flat Tenkan Sen/ Kijun Sen.
Natural Gas is in a natural consolidation following such a strong move down.
The range is defined by the Daily Tenkan Sen and Potential Swing Low ie. 6.00 - 7.00
When to short ?
1. Price must stay below Kumo
2. All Ichmoku lines are facing down on the daily chart
3. Chikou Span breaking Kumo down ( which will coincide of a breakout of the present low ) .
If you after the RANGE Short
1. Short from 7.00.
2. The problem is the stop will be outside the Kijun and Kumo = 8.00
