In the financial world, silver has been treated like trash. In financial markets, It's known as one of the worst possible investments along with gold. Yet, when you look at this chart, over time silver has massively outperformed the SP500 along with the Dow Jones Industrial average. As it catches it's breath, some are saying it will continue to tank while contrarians consider silver to be entering a new cycle into a bull run.
Silver's industrial use has also been increasing. Solar technology, cell phones, and many pharmaceuticals use silver in production. Will the increase in population and increase in technology increase this demand?
Will the coming silver bull run be as massive as the one that occurred in 1980? Are you better off buying silver for the long run rather than investing in mutual funds and index funds? Is silver over priced? Is it under priced?
