It seems to me the index could just has finished wave 3 of a leading diagonal.

Let's see if the bounce follows my plan...
... or if price resumes the downtrend after being rejected by the cloud, meaning the base of the red channel and neck line would not hold the bounce from the cloud...
.. or if something else happens!
