I published this analysis on April 24, 2022(private post). Now decided to release it for everyone..! There are five types of corrective patterns: • Zigzag (5-3-5) • Flat (3-3-5) • Triangle (3-3-3-3-3) • Double three: A combination of two corrective patterns above • Triple three: A combination of three corrective patterns above
Zig-Zag: Guidelines
• Zigzag is a corrective 3 waves structure labeled as ABC • Subdivision of waves A and C is 5 waves, either impulse or diagonal • Wave B can be any corrective structure • Zigzag is a 5-3-5 structure Fibonacci Ratio Relationship
• Wave B = 50%, 61.8%, 76.4% or 85.4% of wave A • Wave C = 61.8%, 100%, or 123.6% of wave A • If wave C = 161.8% of wave A, wave C can be wave 3 of a 5 waves impulse. Thus, one way to label between ABC and impulse is whether the third swing has extension or not
Observation: 1- The first corrective wave had 5 subdivisions (checkmark) 2- Wave B fulfilled the 3 subdivision rule and 76.4% of wave A (2 Checkmarks)
Forecast of the Wave C: 3 possible scenarios: 1- 61.8% of wave A: 418 (Least likely to be the case) 2- 100% of wave A: 390 by mid-May (more likely to happen) 3- 123% of wave A: 375 by early June (Most Likely to happen)
Notes: -Crossing below 348 will change the counting if happen and SPY could go down more..!
Additional points: I think we are at the beginning of wave 3 which could be fast and furious..!
Best,
