"Tonies, a German audio toy company, achieved a revenue growth of 37% in the financial year 2022, with profitability at the upper end of the projected range. The increase in sales was due to the company's international expansion, particularly in the US, where retail sales tripled to €66 million. Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, the adjusted EBITDA margin of -2.4% exceeded the updated projection for the financial year 2022. For 2023, the company anticipates a consolidated revenue of €354 million, a US revenue of €116 million, and a positive adjusted EBITDA margin. In Q1 2023, the company experienced a strong start with revenue growth that is expected to continue throughout the year, reaching around 37%."
