Those were the area of Buy side (or Sell side) Liquidity rested so when the new session begin, order flow will be more likely manipulated and run the stops from previous session.
You can get entries there and taking profit at the old high or low from previous price swing.

Don't trade Asia session should you're impatient.From the chart NY high had also taken out but it was in accumulation phase until London market open.
Even the price go as your directional bias still there will be some manipulation with only two 15m candles to grab more liquidity before the real move that make the price go deeper!
