NOVA hello everyone, Let's comment on USD/JPY price next week from August 21 to August 25, 23
World situation: The latest National Consumer Price Index (CPI) data from Japan for July exceeded expectations, registering a year-on-year growth of 3.3%. This outperformed the projected 2.5% increase and was consistent with the previous reading. This unexpected surge has bolstered the Japanese yen's position against many other currencies. However, despite this positive development, there are concerns about the overall fragility of the local economy, which may not align with the Bank of Japan's desired conditions for implementing policy changes. Additionally, due to uncertainties surrounding China's economic situation, the Bank of Japan is maintaining a cautious stance and refraining from making any adjustments to its accommodating approach as it closely monitors developments in that country.
