Now, the pair is trading below this key level and has also broken the ascending channel support on the daily timeframe, signaling that bulls are likely out of the game. The recent drop to 147.00 and bounce toward 151.00 could be setting up the next short opportunity.

📉 USDJPY – Rejected From 151, Second Bearish Leg Activated 📉As previously highlighted, USDJPY was expected to reject from the 151 resistance zone, and that’s exactly what happened. This drop has now gained fundamental support as well, following news about Trump’s tariffs, which have added bearish pressure on the USD while strengthening the JPY.
🔹 Key Technical & Fundamental Alignment:
Price is forming the second bearish leg, targeting the 140.000 zone.
This target aligns with previous pivot lows, adding more confluence to the support area.
Bearish market structure is intact on the daily timeframe.
💡 The combination of technical rejection and bearish macro fundamentals makes this scenario highly probable. Current positions remain valid and can be held until the 140 zone is reached. Once there, we’ll reassess for the next move.
