Ruble is about to do a 'Lira'!

Russia's currency is about to go the way of the Turkish Lira. The dumpster fire is already lit. I'm sure that Putin already calculated this as a given cost of pursuing his agenda, so it'll be interesting to see what sort of contingencies he has planned. I'm not taking this trade, just planning to watch the fireworks. Got my popcorn ready.

Large opening spike shown on Tradingview, but nothing when looking on Forex.com. Price is currently fixed at Friday's settlement price. Not moving. I'm currently searching news to see if trading was halted. Very interesting. If trading WAS halted then there is a flood of pending orders out there waiting to dump Rubles ASAP. This is going to be the most exciting currency move since Brexit.Note
UPDATE: I've just received confirmation form Forex.com that they have halted trading on USD/RUB.Note
CME Futures are still moving. Take a look at 6R1!. Wow! Honestly I feel sorry for all the poor Russian citizens who are about to be caught in the middle of this. They probably didn't ask for all this, you know?Note
Forgot to add that Russian central bank raised target interest rate from 9.5% to 20%.Also trading halted on Russian stock exchange. Non-resident investors blocked from withdrawing capital.
