Possibly an impulse leg-up is in the making...? Looking at the US Dollar Index (which certainly looks like another leg-up is highly probable); then that should possibly mean a strong up-move for this pair as well... (The downside/downtrend ever-since from the start of the year for USDZAR seems to look like some kind-of a consolidation process...; that could possibly be trying to build-up a momentum to develop an even further upside...?)
I've been very actively trading this pair BTW (& I hope to know what is going on with it now)...
P.S., I'm also beginning to be uncertain if the price of Gold really has the influence on this pair (or the ZAR currency's strength); because it just didn't seemed quite consistent... Just like how the CAD/MXN/RUB is sensitive/influenced by the price of crude oil...
But one thing should be quite certain though; is that the US Dollar is set to get stronger from now for a limited period of timeline before falling again further-on (a high probability speculation)...
Best regards.
