- US Inflation Rate Picks Up
The annual inflation rate in the US increased to 2.6% in October, from 2.4% in September and in line with market expectations. On a monthly basis, CPI rise by 0.2%, consistent with the previous three months with shelter index up 0.4%, accounting for over half of the monthly increase. Meanwhile, core inflation stayed at 3.3% annually and 0.3% monthly.
