Cleanup of last video

12.20.19 Generally I am OK with the last video...it stated my thoughts on expansions, BUT the ABCD pattern did not come out well...so this is a clarification of that...and then I offer some advise for traders that are thinking changing indicators or even making profound system changes. There is a bad way to do it. What is always implied by me...but I did not state...GET a Mentor. ( it is not a self promotion...as I have no desire to mentor anyone but a few people that I have a connection to ). AND...if you think you have found a great Mentor ( which is easier said than done )....do exactly what the mentor tells you to do...and shelf ALL of your pet indicators...at least in the beginning. You are paying the mentor...so get your money's worth...use what the Mentor uses....until you understand it.

If you find a mentor...there will be a honeymoon period when you are energized and hopeful...when you know almost nothing about what that mentor does. This is when you get ALL your stuff off the chart...and put as many hours as you can...listening and DRAWING as precisely as you can...and then ask questions. RECORD the sessions. I would never mentor with someone who did not allow me to record the session which will give me 80% more information that I missed during the live session. A good mentor will let you record. Personally...I always assured the mentor that I would not share the information and distribute the recorded sessions. In fact, I had one mentor who wanted to share my recorded sessions with another student...and I told I did not like that at all...and if he had done it, I would have stopped using that mentor. The sessions are private...and you should ask anything and everything that concerns you...in privacy. You paid for it and it is yours. For me this meant I would take 1-2 months ( max )...under the terms stated above. It was a contract by me ...and for me...because I knew all new relationships have a honeymoon period when there is lots of energy and enthusiasm...and that is your window for benefit and peak learning from that mentor.
