SPY call options 12/17 strike $465 only went up $89 today when it could have doubled in price ($300 profit) minus theta ($20)
The 11% VIX drop today took away $200 in potential profit from that position
be careful buying long or short options when the VIX is high, you will get crushed... a high VIX is a option sellers dream
