Hi I would like to share some Stock Screener settings with you. I have had success with paper trading profitable results on the NASDAQ and NYSE. The following stock screener settings should give you immediate success paper trading a long position when picking a stock from the stock screener, with a high chance of probability. I'm not going to say it works every time, though refer to my attached picture for results.

15 minutes (bar)
COMMON STOCK
Sort by Volume*Price (descending - highest value on top)
AROON UP above 50
RSI (14) crosses down 70
SMA 200 below or equal Last
MACD LEVEL Above or Equal MACD Signal (12,26)

The most important part of the screener is that the RSI (14) is crossing down at 70. This means that initially you would think that when buying long you would want a stock with a rising RSI. Think again. I found that when choosing from the top of the list sorted by Volume*Price the selling seems to have subsided by the time the Stock Screener shows you stocks that have already declined in value, and when you simulate a BUY using a Paper Trading account the stock seems to rise. There is still a potential for the stock to decline in value if left unmonitored. Though the results are surprising and I had to share this idea with you.

Just check out the attached picture with the referenced URL in this post, the attached picture shows rising stocks in Paper Trading, and this was only after picking stocks over a period of 30 minutes.
Note
I must update my idea, as I have made a discovery using RSI (14) crosses down 70. I found that this setting on Stock Screener is not required anymore. I have added a Directional Movement Index setting to the Stock Screener though.

Here is the latest comprehensive list of updated settings for Stock Screener. I must admit that I made a mistake, and the previous stock screener settings were not optimal for finding upwards moving stocks. I can admit that the new settings with DI do find upwards moving stocks nicely.

Remember to pick from the top of the list.
