XAU/USD is in a bearish trend. It is favorable for the trader to take a short position at 1932.74. The stop loss should be placed at the previous lower high, which is 1948. If the price breaks above 1970, then this trade is invalid because the trend has changed.
Note
stop loss should be at 1950.30 not at 1948.
