Allerdings legen Zentralbankbeamte oft mehr Wert auf die Kerninflation, die immer noch deutlich über dem 2-Prozent-Ziel der Fed liegt.Da die Kerninflation nach wie vor mehr als doppelt so hoch ist wie das 2-Prozent-Ziel der Fed, gehen Händler davon aus, dass die Fed auf ihrer Sitzung am 25. und 26. Juli 2023 die Zinsen um 25 Basispunkte anheben wird. Allerdings halten sie die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Fed ihre Zinsen noch einmal erhöhen wird, für recht gering, nämlich bei etwa 25 %, verglichen mit zuvor mehr als 33 %.
