" This flash selling partly caused by explosion of ETFs in equities, commodities etc. Everybody has become a self made fund manager. In a bull market this is fine....they just buy n sit on it. The problem comes when an adverse situation develops. These amateurs don't have the experience to handle the falling market n thus panicked out of their ETFs all at once. I suspect smart money n large hedge funds saw this as an opportunity to trigger a string of panic selling not just in equities but also in gold. Hence the funny situation of gold crashing along with equities.......they normally move agst each other. This is an ETF driven selloff."
