Consolidations
What are “consolidations”?
Consolidations, often labeled as “ranges” in mainstream trading, hold a deeper meaning at T.T.T. Here, consolidations are the playgrounds of the BFI, zones where prices oscillate between highs and lows, as illustrated below. Within these confines, intentions simmer as BFI stack orders to propel future price movements. We confidently trade consolidations, fully aware of the intricate dynamics unfolding within the market’s underbelly.

Forex Trading IdeologyIn Forex trading, understanding price movements is essential for success.
This article presenteds a conceptual ideology that metaphorically interprets price movements in Forex.
We explored range trading as breakfast and conversation, where traders analyze overbought and oversold levels on a RSI 4 for potential breakouts.
Trends were attributed to buyers and sellers, with uptrends indicating bullish sentiment and downtrends reflecting bearish sentiment.
Breakouts were seen as pivotal decisions made during breakfast, confirmed through technical indicators like the RSI.
Correlation and retesting allowed traders to analyze market relationships and make informed decisions.
Trend continuation or reversal required careful analysis of price patterns and indicators.
Finally , the closing and opening of trading sessions marked the end of one day and the start of another.
By applying this kind of ideology, traders can gain insights into market dynamics, improve their strategies, and make informed decisions in Forex trading.

Cant wait for price to stop ranging? Do thisFirst of all you are going to need this indicator
Its the Heiken Ashi Algo Oscillator. Click the image below
There are times when price is ranging. When this happens you simply need to see what is the channel where the RSI values are hitting and you want to know WHEN is the RSI breaking out of that channel
In this oscillator the HIGH and LOW part of the RSI Range is the +10 and -10
If price is ranging in between as it is consolidating you dont want to sit there for several hours.
So in this video you can see how to set an alert telling you when the RSI breaks out of the RANGE.
This way, once the alert is set, you can go live life.........

Is this recent rally a bull rebound of a bear retracement? To make an assessment if the market has turned bear, during the closing second quarter on 29th June 2022, we discussed on the topic “Using S&P to Identify Recession
and on the 19 Jul, 2 weeks ago the tutorial posted here, we studied and expecting this current rebound, topic “Nasdaq a leading indicator of Dow Jones, S&P & Russell”.
In today’s tutorial, I thought of doing a recap between the two videos and explore if the current market and its development, if it is a bull rebound heading to break another new all-time high or if it is a bear retracement?
I have included both the video links below.

Biil Williams Aligator Indicator Explanation on BTC MarketCapHello Friends.
Today we will explain Aligator indicator on BTC Marketcap Chart.
this post has 2 purpose:
1)BTC marketcap analyze
2)Learn how Bill Williams Aligator indicator works
First lets see how this indicator works:
The Alligator indicator is composed of three smoothed moving averages.
It is named ‘alligator’ because it mimics the feeding habit of the animal and can help traders
pick out the best times to ‘feed’ on the pips available in a trending market.
Here are the lines that constitute the Alligator indicator:
Alligator’s Jaw
This is a 13-period smoothed moving average. This line is typically visualised in blue.
Alligator’s Jaw = SMMA (median price, 13, 8)
Alligator’s Teeth
This is an 8-period smoothed moving average. This line is typically visualised in red.
Alligator’s Teeth = SMMA (median price, 8, 5)
Alligator’s Lips
This is a 5-period smoothed moving average. This line is typically visualised in green.
Alligator’s Lips = SMMA (median price, 5, 3)
Trading Rules:
When the lines are intertwined or converging, it implies that the market is ranging (the ‘alligator’ is sleeping).
The longer the alligator sleeps, the hungrier it will wake up; prolonged consolidation will imply a massive breakout.
The alligator’s lip will be the first to move (crossing above or below the jaw) when it is waking up, which denotes the
Begining of a new trend.
An upward movement implies an uptrend might be forming, whereas a downward movement implies that a potential downtrend is starting.
A trend will be confirmed when the alligator’s teeth cut through the lips.
This will be the signal to buy in a confirmed uptrend or to sell in a confirmed downtrend.
The signal to take profits will come when the lines start to converge again, which will mean that the alligator is now about to repeat the sleep cycle.
Now lets see what happened in BTC marketcap According to this Strategy:
We can see awakening of aligator from 9 march 2020 untill 12 april 2021.
it shows a strong uptrend and aligator lines divergence.
I show it with a Green Ellipse in chart.
after that aligator go to sleep for a while from 12 april 2021 to 18 jan 2022.
so we can see a Range in price and aligator lines converging.
I show that with a Yellow Ellipse in chart.
after that we see aligator lips and teeth breaks jaw and aligator awake in a downward trend
so we approch a bearish market and i show that with a Red Ellipse.
no one know how much this cycle last.
after this section i think aligator go to sleep again and after that awake upward.
please protect your capital and know about market cycles.
we could see new bottoms so we must manage our risk.
after that when diffrent conditions confirm uptrend we can buy again.
Remember:
Buy expensive but confident

WHY DID THE BULLISH CONTINUATION MOVE FAIL?What does "End of Month Square Up" mean.
A square position is a situation where a trader or portfolio has no market exposure. ... The reason for this confusion is that the term "squaring up" is used to describe settling open trades before the market closes.
A square position is also referred to as a "flat position."
Square position, like many trading terms, can take on a different nuance depending on the speaker. For an individual forex trader, a square position can refer to offsetting long and short positions in the same currency pair or a situation where a currency trader holds no positions in the market. The reason for this confusion is that the term "squaring up" is used to describe settling open trades before the market closes. Squaring usually refers to just a few positions, but a trader could close out all of his open positions and get out of the market.
The "Market Makers" can use this trading principle as they move the market.
E/U had a Bullish Trend which became a consolidated range.
Price had a Bearish Breakout of the Range bottom which failed.
Price created Higher Highs and Higher Low making it appear a Bullish Continuation move was happening.
This drew in long traders leaving behind lots of money tied up in Stop Losses.
The Market Makers can tell where the most money is tied up on the Long side or Short Side.
It seems to appear that the Market Makers made the Bullish Continuation Reversal fail and took out the Stop Losses at the Higher Low entry point and also the 50% reversal entry point.
All of this happening the last few days of the End of the Month of October.
Could this be an example of the "END OF MONTH SQUARE UP?"
EURUSD 4H How to use the 50/100 sma as your Price Action GuideThe 50 and 100 sma are my guides for price movement on my charts. Price trends, ranges or consolidates. When price moves in between the 50 and 100 sma I call that my in side range. Price can move quickly through both or mostly it will consolidate. If I enter an inside range trade I do not expect to have price momentum going through that space. Also many times price will move from one ma to the middle of the inside range and then return to that original ma and either cross back over that ma and continue moving away. Or price will make a second attempt to cross through the inside range to the other ma and complete it this time. When price is in a trend or a larger range it can be far away from these two ma's. Price will want to return to these ma's . Price will either bounce off the first ma and continue the trend or return to the range res/sup line. Or price will go through the inside range and continue on. In this case when price crosses the last ma it will move with momentum. I always look for the 800 ma on a 15m chart and see how long price has not touched it. So if price structure looks like the 800 sma could be a TP I use it. I also try to see if there is a larger range box price is moving back and forth in and use those sup/res lines as TP. If price moves up to the top of the larger range and makes new highs then possibly a new trend is starting. Watch for fake break outs from the range box so I usually will wait on the breakout for a break of the trendline - a hook back toward the trendline - and a go with continuation candle patterns with the new trend.
