What is Tether and why I am staying far away from itNow Tether is not your usual crypto currency. It’s not something you buy low and sell high.
What you’ll notice is that the price oscillates around the 1.000 mark.
It’s not your usual crypto currency. It’s what’s known as a stable coin. So its main goal is to track the US dollar’s price 1:1
And tether is not a long-term investment that will grow your money by itself because it stays pegged to the U.S. dollar.
So, investors use this crypto coin to hedge against the US dollar .
Investors use this crypto coin to gain exposure to the US dollar but in crypto form. Tether also sometimes acts as a “bridge” between the fiat and crypto world – as in people often buy stable coins to then buy other cryptos
It’s for the investors who want to invest and diversify their money in a non-government measure and to control their own finances instead of putting the money in banks.
Sounds good and safe right?
The problem is that Tether (USDT) always denies an audit.
They have also been investigated by the NY Attorney General’s office for lying about their reserves.
Also there is major volatility and uncertainty with crypto exchanges since the FTX and Alameda debacle.
Binance (One of the largest Crypto currency exchange) even paused customer deposits of stable coins USD Coin and Tether on Thursday morning without explanation.
This is not safe as a hedge in my opinion. Hence, it’s another reason to stay away from even stable coins like Tether…
Tether
I wouldn't buy Tether with a Barge Pole here's whyI absolutely agree that Tether is yet another Penny crypto that should not be touched with a 10 foot pole.
Now Tether is not your usual crypto currency. It’s not something you buy low and sell high.
Take a look at the chart before I continue.
Tether is not one I would consider buying.

Will the crypto market recover? ❇️Hello guys,
Some of you have texted me asking if this market will stay this way? What happened to LUNA? What happened to Tether and Terra?
Well, I will keep this short. You do not need to worry!
People always do this. They always panic and sell RANDOMLY, without reading and investigating the situation.
There will be no time until all intelligent investors realize that it is a significant opportunity for buying. And as soon as the buy volumes start to increase and the fundamental news starts to spread about what a great chance it is to buy crypto, people worldwide will begin to follow and buy more and more out of FOMO, which is not a bad thing.
Of course, we have to be careful. There have been regulations and apparent reasons behind this big crash. And indeed, there will be more regulations. So If you are waiting for this buying opportunity, do not jump ahead.
Wait for some signals, read the news, analyze the market and make sure before jumping on the recovery train.
Until then, have these items in mind in heavy dumps:
1. Do not do leverage trading
2. Do not buy coins in FOMO
3. Do not stick to the screen all-day
4. Do not do revenge trading
5. Do not average out every dip
6. Do not go all in one coin
Let me know your ideas.
Good luck.

Cryptodollars Tether USDT - instructions for beginnersIn 2015, an unknown company, Tether Limited, issued its own token, undertaking to exchange it for real US dollars at a rate of 1 to 1. At that time, this crypto asset was profitable to use:
Cryptocurrency exchanges in order to avoid the requirements of the Regulators for the verification of traders depositing accounts in traditional currency (fiat);
American investors, so as not to pay taxes on every exchange of cryptocurrencies for fiat.
Traders can now safely use Tether USD without worrying about a possible scam. Moreover, USDT issuance tracking allows traders to see when big capital cryptocurrencies enter the market.
The release of any token is public information available through the blockchain explorer programs, whose statistics are analyzed by various specialized services. Notification about large tranches of Tether USD, as well as other cryptocurrencies, can be received, for example, through the notifications of the @Whale Alert channel.
The extent to which the USDT emission is related to the Bitcoin rate is demonstrated by the historical graph of stablecoin capitalization. So these tokens began to be called at the end of 2018, when the first competitors appeared, repeating the economic model of Tether.
Tether USD can be used to pay for goods, replenish bank cards, get a loan, or invest in DeFi services in order to receive interest on a deposit. Moreover, the USDT token is ideal for Forex traders to deposit and withdraw funds.
Choose Token and Wallet
Before replenishing an account or withdrawing a deposit in USDT cryptodollars, a trader needs to decide on the type of token format. Behind each of them is a blockchain, where the size of the commission is determined by miners who collect transactions into blocks.
The fees are floating, depending on the load and bandwidth of the network blocks, the amount of the transaction does not matter. A trader can transfer one dollar or a billion for the same amount of deductions to miners.
At the time of writing, the average translation costs are:
In the OMNI protocol - $28;
Ethereum blockchain - $12;
Blockchain Tron and Binance - about $1.
Tether, for its part, makes an equal bet on Ethereum and Tron, placing about $24 billion of USDT emission there. The Omni protocol is practically abandoned.
The list of wallets must be taken on the website of the developers of the cryptocurrency that the trader has chosen.
The crypto wallet has a seed phrase - a set of words that helps the user regain access to his deposit from any device. Knowing this phrase of 12 words, you can not be afraid of any force majeure, because the cryptocurrency is not stored in the wallet, but in the blockchain.
A seed phrase is a list of random words (12, 18, or 24 words) used to recover your funds in case you lose your password to your wallet application or the device on which your wallet is installed. The seed phrase is usually generated when you set up your crypto wallet
By the way, the first Tether USD transaction can only be seen in the browser; in order for this balance to be displayed in the wallet, USDT will have to be added manually, this feature is explained by thousands of types of digital currencies on the Ethereum blockchain.
Upon receipt of tokens from a broker, they can be withdrawn to any popular electronic wallet or bank card, if the account has:
ETH cryptocurrencies for the ERC-20 format;
TRX cryptocurrencies for the TRX-20 format.
The last very important point is the network commission. The purchase of ETH and TRX is necessary just to pay for it. USDT tokens, like any other asset in the ERC-20 format, cannot be withdrawn from the wallet without a fee to miners, which is charged in gas.
The only problem is that when exchanging USDT for fiat, the trader will have to pay a commission to the miners. Many wallets set it to the maximum bar. We check the average fee here and fix it manually in the wallet, this applies to the ERC-20 token. In the case of TRC, the commission is almost always quite low, up to $1.
Deposit in USDT
The account replenishment operation is no different from the above procedures. Having decided on the stablecoin format from the list supported by the forex broker, the trader must start by choosing and opening a crypto wallet.
Some beginners aim to simplify this process by sending USDT directly to the broker's address via an exchange. It is worth remembering that the broker requires the deposit address to match the withdrawal address, which in the case of an exchange will be random.
Similar problems will arise when trying to replenish a deposit in the Forex market directly from a cryptocurrency exchange. She also uses random addresses for output. Address permanence can only be guaranteed by these companies for accepting payments, not for withdrawals.
Having opened his own wallet, the trader must receive USDT on it, and then transfer it from his address to a brokerage account. The problem is that the last operation will require payment of gas, therefore, you will have to replenish your wallet in two cryptocurrencies - ETH (TRX) and USDT.
So, to work with Tether ERC-20, we first need to buy Ethereum, and then exchange part of Ethereum for Tether USDT.
Sincerely, R Linda!
Timing the Market Using Tether DominanceI always emphasize that time in the market beats timing the market, but I want to share an interesting approach that you can consider taking when timing the cryptocurrency market, especially when it comes to Bitcoin's overall direction.
This is not financial advice. This is for educational purposes only.
Tether Dominance
- Just as Bitcoin dominance refers to Bitcoin's market cap relative to that of the entire market cap, Tether dominance is no different.
- It refers to how much capital is parked in stablecoins, specifically Tether, at any point in time.
- Since Tether (USDT) is a stablecoin that tracksthe USD, an increase in Tether dominance suggests a pullback or correction in cryptocurrencies.
- A simple way to understand it is to think of USD flowing in and out of the market.
- On the other hand, if Tether dominance drops, it means that more capital is being deployed to purchase cryptocurrencies, which is bullish overall for the market.
- If you look at the graph above, you'll clearly see the inverse correlation between Bitcoin (orange) and Tether dominance (black).
- Key support and resistance zones for Tether dominance are marked as well.
- As we're currently trading slightly above local support, marked in green, if we see Tether Dominance fall below those levels, we could expect Bitcoin to continue rallying upwards.
Bitcoin Daily Chart Analysis
- We've tested Bitcoin's yearly open price at $47.2k, and failed to break above the 200 simple moving average (purple).
- Bitcoin has retraced to $45-46k levels, which is a completely anticipated move considering that pullbacks can take place upon breakouts.
- As the overall structure remains bullish, and we see the moving averages cross again, aligning in order for a bull rally, I expect us to retest $50k ranges again.
- Whether we get rejected at those levels, or break through it is unclear, but we'll take it by levels as we always do.
Conclusion
With Tether dominance currently barely holding local support, I think there's a high probability that we see those support levels break down, and see Bitcoin rally upwards once again. This is definitely an indicator that you want to continuously refer to as you trade.

USDT.D Daily Analysis🟢USDT's dominance bounced from the uptrend line support to form a twin floor pattern and is now above the neckline of this pattern, which also acts as a support. If the retest is successful, it is expected to move upwards, which will be a sign of decline for the market because the USDT and BTC dominance are inversely related to each other.
Use the appropriate loss limit for your trades, which has a very high possibility of emotional movement in the market.

Advanced Tradingview CalculationsThis is a tutorial on how to get the most out of Tradingview by using advanced price calculations.
The focus will be on crypto, and more specifically bitcoin.
Nevertheless these tricks can be applied to other assets as well.
Let's say you want to look at the current bitcoin price.
The problem is that there are a lot of different exchanges and they all have different prices.
Sure they're all around the same price level, but there's still a difference.
So it would be quite useful if we could just look at an average price of all the most relevant markets.
Here's how you can make that happen...
Average price calculation
First you click on the ticker on the top left, which will open the ticker tab.
Open the parenthesis by typing: "(".
Next you look for the markets you're interested in. In the example on the chart (bottom left line chart) I made an average for Coinbase, Bitstamp, Bitfinex and Binance.
So you start typing "BTCUSD" and then with the up/down arrow keys on your keyboard you can select the exchanges you want.
Each time you select an exchange you type: "+".
Then type "BTCUSD" again and select another exchange. The binance pair is versus USDT instead of USD. So to easily find that market type "BTCUSDT".
Once you're done selecting markets you close the parenthesis and divide the whole thing by the amount of markets you've chosen.
In my example I took 4 markets so I divided it by 4. Finally press enter.
Now you have a price chart that's an average of all the markets you selected.
Converted currency price chart
On the top left you see a red line chart. This is the Bitflyer spot market.
There's an issue though, it's a Japanese Yen pair. I would like to be able to compare it to USD markets.
So let's convert it and make a price chart with USD values.
Just like last time, open the ticker tab.
Look for "BTCJPY" and select the Bitflyer market.
Now type "*". We're going to multiply it with a forex pair.
Type "JPYUSD" and select a forex pair.
When that's done you press enter and your price chart will be in USD instead of JPY!
Making ratio's
There's so much possible with these types of calculations, but I'll share one more trick to give you some inspiration.
Let's compare certain markets with each other and create ratios.
To the chart on the right you can see in green a ratio of some of the top USD markets in relation to the top USDT markets.
This way we can see which markets have a premium or a discount.
It always starts the same way: open the ticker tab.
First open the parenthesis: "(".
Just like with the average price calculation you're going to select a few USD markets of your liking.
I used Coinbase, Bitstamp and Bitfinex for this example. Don't forget to type "+" in between each market.
Then close the parenthesis and divide the selected USD markets by 3 (because I'm using 3 markets here).
Now type "-" and open the parenthesis again. We're going to add a few USDT markets just like we did for USD.
I used Binance, Huobi and Poloniex.
Again close the parenthesis and divide by 3.
And finally press enter of course.
The price chart will be replaced by the ratio and it'll look kind of messy.
Let's make it look like a nice indicator.
You can do this by clicking on the "compare" button and doing the entire calculation there. It'll add a big fat orange line on top of your price chart.
By clicking on the three dots you can click on "new pane below". Then go to the style settings and change it to your liking.
I made it green and decided to use a line chart with markers. Looks pretty nice. Interesting ratio too...
The blue ratio on the top of the chart is a simple Coinbase/Bitfinex comparison.
Click the "compare" button again and type the following formula: COINBASE:BTCUSD-BITFINEX:BTCUSD
This way you can see which exchange is more bullish/bearish.
That's all I have for you today.
Hopefully you found it interesting.
Bitcoin Retraces But What About The Altcoins? We know many of you are really interested in the smaller altcoins...
The altcoins market continues to grow stronger and in bullish potential, here is what will happen next.
Now, before we get started, it is always necessary to make this small but very important distinction when we talk about Altcoins.
Conventional analysts here talk about Bitcoin and Altcoins.
When they say Altcoins they are mainly referring to the big ones, the TOP10: ETH, ADA, LTC, TRX, BCH, EOS, XRP, USDT, BNB, and XLM...
(Not necessary the TOP10 but those with the biggest market cap.)
When we/I/us mention Altcoins, we are always exclusively talking about ALL ALTCOINS minus the TOP10.
When it comes to market capitalization and the bullishness of the market, we have to separate these bigger altcoins from the smaller ones for two reasons:
1) These bigger altcoins move together with Bitcoin (Bitcoin is now dropping strong, these as well).
Normally, we tend to see altcoins detach (move inverse) to Bitcoin in a bullish cycle... Right now, you can see the Binance and Bittrex altcoins growing, as well as those on other exchanges.
2) They do not behave as the smaller alts.
So we can see the altcoins chart (TOTAL2) full bearish and going lower while "the Altcoins Market continues to Grow" .
Even with that said, they are still producing higher highs and higher lows, meaning that the entire market is now in full bullish mode.
What Happens To The Altcoins?
As I've said many times before, this is only the beginning.
Feel free to buy up on your favorite pairs.
Feel free to take your time to research, make your choice, buy and hold.
The cryptocurrency markets are very likely to grow for years to come.

Without making you read anymore love related paragraphs... Here are the support levels for Ripple (XRPUSDT) based on the Binance chart.
Ripple (XRPUSDT) Support Levels by Alan Masters
(1) $0.24
(2) $0.19 (The entire red rectangle is a demand zone)
(3) $0.14 (The orange rectangle is the next one)
Now, the question asked by one of our great followers:
"How likely are we go to as low as support (3)?"
(Feel free to leave your questions in the comments section below)
Here is a possible scenario:
but wait... here is my answer:
I don't see it as very likely unless XRPUSDT continues in bear mode for a very long time or if there is a flash crash/dump, which in turn would result in a quick bounce. So instead we focus on price action and check the candle close every week.
Example: This week closes today and we are below Fib. 0.236 @$0.30. If the weekly candle closes below this level, then we can expect to test our first support at $0.24. If the candle closes above then XRPUSDT has the chance to test EMA10 ($0.39).
I know this article is a bit disorganized, I apologize but hopefully it helped you understand better XRPUSD next support...
If yes... hit LIKE... MORE OPPORTUNITIES WILL ALWAYS COME...
TO YOU!
