EURUSD - Another Trade Analysis Using ICT ConceptsVery beautiful again today.
With the expectation of higher prices, I took a long on EURUSD. As I illustrate in the video, there were very nice algorithmic price action and sentiment manipulated. All the things I love to see in a high-probability setup.
I hope you enjoy the video and found it insightful.

Trade Like A Sniper - Episode 47 - USDTWD - (18th June 2024)This video is part of a video series where I backtest a specific asset using the TradingView Replay function, and perform a top-down analysis using ICT's Concepts in order to frame ONE high-probability setup. I choose a random point of time to replay, and begin to work my way down the timeframes. Trading like a sniper is not about entries with no drawdown. It is about careful planning, discipline, and taking your shot at the right time in the best of conditions.
A couple of things to note:
- I cannot see news events.
- I cannot change timeframes without affecting my bias due to higher-timeframe candles revealing its entire range.
- I cannot go to a very low timeframe due to the limit in amount of replayed candlesticks
In this session I will be analyzing USDTWD, starting from the 4-Month chart.

Target reached! GBPUSD ReviewPrice bounced off the 1.2683 support we identified and rose nicely to our take profit target at the 1.2832 level. In this review, we touch on why we used the 1.2832 level and not the swing high at 1.2850 - a lot of this is down to trade management and take profit placement.

Target Reached! USDCHF ReviewPrice reversed beautifully from the sell entry level we forecasted at 0.8988 and has reached the take profit target of 0.8908. The important lesson here is to place your take profit before a key level (vs right at the key level). As you can see in this video, price touched the TP level and took off in the other direction - just missing this crucial bit of information would have been potentially costly.

Rates Obsession - a pro interest rates set-up on TradingView Interest rate pricing has a huge effect across many financial markets at present – the correlation between short-term rates, rates volatility and the USD is certainly evident.
However, with such a big window for increased volatility in interest rates pricing, as traders try and price the prospect of a 25bp or 50bp hike at the 22 March FOMC, as well as peak fed funds pricing, could increased pricing result in a big move in the USD and NAS100?
In the video, we look at how we can look at the fed funds curve and understand ‘what is priced in’ – we look at how to measure the degree of cuts priced in for a specific period of time, and how to look at implied volatility in bond markets – and, why it is important for FX and index traders?
Interest rates and short-term US Treasury bonds are the first derivative and so many markets take their direction from these inputs - hopefully, this gives some understanding of how you can use TradingView more effectively to assess these inputs.
Inflation & Interest Rate Series / Dollar and Gold I have started this inflation and interest rate series, in our last video, we discussed "Inverted Yield". Today will be discussing the relationship between:
. Inflation
. Interest rate
. Dollar and
. Gold
Today's Content:
• Why with higher interest rates, it strengthens the USD
• Is USD the strongest currency? If not, then who?
• Strategy to counter inflation
• Interest rate higher, but a lower USD?
Dollar Index:
. Measure the value of the dollar against a basket of six foreign currencies.
. These are: the Euro, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, British pound, and Swedish krona.
. With the increase of money supply over the decades, it causes currencies dilution. When currencies weaken, inflation follows.

1.0 = US$100
10 points = US$1,000

Price Rate Of Change Indicator (ROC)Signals:
In an uptrend look for the indicator reversal points below zero to go long.
In a downtrend look for the indicator reversal points above zero to go long.
Trend identification:
A rising ROC typically shows uptrend and crossing above zero line confirms the uptrend.
A falling ROC typically shows downtrend and crossing below zero line confirms the downtrend.
Pivot Point Strategy
A pivot point is a technical indicator to identify trends and reversals in any market.
Pivot points are calculated to determine critical levels in which the price could find its support and continues in the same direction or change from bullish to bearish, and vice-versa.
We can use Pivot points to find
entry,
stops,
and profit-taking by trying to determine the psychology of the market.
When we are above the pivot point the market is bullish.
In a bullish market if we cross a resistance level the uptrend will continue but if it bounces back we can expect a trend reversal.
When we are below the pivot point the market is bearish.
In a bearish market if we cross a support level the downtrend will continue but if it bounces back we can expect a trend reversal.
Why chasing % should be your focus and not pips! Here we look at 3 traders, all claiming to have a winning trade with 100 pips - however, with very different % gains on their accounts.
The main part of trading is profitability, you can not pay your bills with pips.
This explains what you need to focus on and be aware of!
Hope it helps,
