Airbnb
$ABNBAn essential aspect of Airbnb's business is that the company does not own or operate any rental properties. Similar to eBay, it creates the platform and manages the interactions between hosts and guests. The asset-light business model has the potential for excellent profit margins because there is no need to pay for building or maintaining expensive structures like hotels or resorts. Moreover, Airbnb can hire customer service staff in low-cost parts of the world to support guests staying at properties in high-cost areas like Los Angeles.
The coronavirus pandemic caused Airbnb's revenue to fall by 29.7% in fiscal 2020. Before the outbreak, Airbnb increased revenue by 42.6% and 31.6% in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Overall revenue was highest in 2019, where it totaled $4.8 billion. Still, management feels that's just the tip of the iceberg. It estimates Airbnb's total addressable market at around $3.4 trillion.
To put that figure into context, Statista estimates the worldwide hotel and resort market peaked at $1.47 trillion in 2019. It seems management's estimate of its total addressable market may be on the optimistic side.
Airbnb I’ve been very bullish on before it even went public.
It has a slight rough start to the year but it seems to have found its step.
It had a clear double bottom on the daily and now is following a nice upwards trend and is now currently sitting at support
Implying, if Airbnb is able to hold these prices we could see this continue it’s way up and with earnings around the corner it would be very interesting to see what happens from here.
MACD flat.
RSI below 50.
Watchlist this.
Factor Four
AIRBNB Can Go HigherTraders, AIRBNB stock broke out and can now form a complex FCP W pattern which can take the price higher. But after such a violent move, there can be some profit taking so it can first fall down a bit to test 200 sma and then if we get a confirmation to the upside, this will become a good BUY stock. Watch it closely.

AIRBNB (ABNB) | Short-term Breakout, Wait For a RetestHi,
AIRBNB made quite a solid breakout after Reuters reported that the company has offered to provide free, temporary housing to 20,000 Afghan refugees worldwide. Do your own analysis and if this matches with my TA then you are ready to go. Wait for a retest of the breakout area!
Regards,
Vaido
Airbnb stock, is it a buy?Who doesn't know AirBnB? Airbnb, Inc., operates a platform for stays and experiences to guests worldwide. The company's marketplace model connects hosts and guests online or through mobile devices to book spaces and experiences. It primarily offers private rooms and luxury villas. The company was formerly known as AirBed & Breakfast, Inc. and changed its name to Airbnb, Inc. in November 2010.
On March 11 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of coronavirus, known as COVID-19, to be a global pandemic. Since then, the outbreak has evolved rapidly, with governments worldwide taking swift action to slow the spread of COVID-19. Airbnb was affected by this declaration because that meant that his business model would suffer tremendously as travelling around the world would come to a halt. No tourists = no income. At the time, Airbnb was not traded publicly. It was not until last December 2020 when Airbnb IPO happened and created the only imbalance available on the monthly timeframe, around 146 dollars per share.
The meteoric rise of Airbnb across cities since its introduction in 2008 has disrupted the housing markets of major cities worldwide. Some studies demonstrate the increasing trend in rental and property prices that parallels increasing Airbnb activity.
The COVID-19 pandemic presents a unique case study of this stock. Amid growing concern over how the delta variant of Covid-19 could affect people's travel plans, Airbnb (ABNB) endured another month with monthly demand in control. Why? Because the revenue model of Airbnb is founded on is under significant pressure with the halting of global travel. Regardless of any negative impact that COVID-19 may have had on Airbnb, imbalances are created and usually created when there is a trending market unless there is over-extension. Airbnb shares may have dropped after investor worries about the impact of Delta variant on travel overshadowed the online rental company's second-quarter results. Yet, that report didn't do much with the monthly imbalance taking control around $146.
I hold shares of this monster business that will probably become the Amazon of online accommodation reservations.
Airbnb (ABNB) We all know Airbnb,
no matter where you are, by opening the app you will surely find accommodation.
This simple idea has led Airbnb to have a Market Cap superior to the most important and historic chains in the Hotel sector, such as Hilton, Marriot, or Accor.
The IPO that arrived in December 2020 immediately had a big boost after the first week of trading, as often happens.
Between February and March, we had a double top, followed by an important descent that ended in May, also accompanied by negative ROI and P / E below expectations, but obviously, data conditioned by what is happening in the world.
After the double low in July, I was expecting the break of the resistance trendline, which then took place on July 30th.
We are facing a possible trend reversal that will have to be confirmed by the breakout of the price level of $ 157.49.
As far as I'm concerned, this is not short-term trading, but a long-term investment.
I believe in the company, in its fundamentals, and in its growth.
Considering the global scenario, with a pandemic not yet completely overcome, for my portfolio, it was time to insert ABNB.
We are close to the Earnings, I intentionally entered first with a part of the investment. Should the price fall, the important levels to buy are $ 130 and $ 121.
For those interested in medium-term speculation, the levels where to take profit in my opinion are:
- $ 170
- $ 190
- $ 216
A few important statistics as of August 8, 2021:
Short Float: 5.16%
Average analyst target price: $ 173.68
RSI (14): 60.57
Performance Half Y: -23.20% (last very important figure, considering the potential of the company, let's always remember the words of Warren Buffett: Try to be greedy when others are scared, and scared when others are greedy).
Lazy Bull
ABNB with a double bottom pattern?!Airbnb!! This might indicate the beginning of a reversal! The only thing issue regarding this analysis is that, it would have been better if the distance from the 2 bottoms were more than 3 months. Besides this, it looks pretty clean! And i'm liking this 0.786 region.
ABNB - WHERE THE HATERS AT? LOOKING FOR 160PT - ASCEND TRIANGLE
All,
ABNB looks good as I previously compared was indentical to BMBL on wave 2 big buy would have big returns and it did. Only question does it break out the top of this ascend triangle here or bounce down one more wave in pattern off trend then break. Need to see next week.
Outside factors:
-Obviously DJ/SPY tanking is never good for companies overall.
-Breaking below 2nd yellow uptrend (in pink would be a small put position for $10 150 to 150) Do not think this is likely at all though
Technical analysis update: ABNB (8th June 2021)ABNB has been publicly traded since 10th December 2020. ABNB has enjoyed wild ride up and down since then. Currently, we think there is high possibility that ABNB bottomed out on 19th May 2021 and that there is good chance it will continue upwards. Stochastics, MACD and RSI are bullish. In addition to that moving averages are also bullish. We would like to update our short term price target for ABNB to 160 USD per share.
