Stock to Watch for 2021. AlibabaStock to Watch for 2021. #Alibaba #BABA $BABA
The best time to buy Tesla stocks was when the SEC announced they were suing Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018.
Looking at the chart, Tesla was at $52.95... right now $661.77.
Alibaba shares are down 33% since China targets Alibaba with the anti-monopoly investigation.
Could we see a similar stock performance for Alibaba? What's the price of $BABA in 2 years' time?
For me, it is 100% buy for long term investors.
However, if we buy now it would consider catching a falling knife and I do expect more downside to come or at least 1 more big sell-off toward the moving average line.
Also, by looking at previous chart patterns we need to see a W bottom to form in order to confirm momentum reversal and that Alibaba is heading back up.
Therefore, here is what I would like to see from Alibaba at the start of 2021.
What stocks are you watching?

#BABA ANALYSIS.. POSSIBLE PATTERN FOR LONG TERM.. I think that the pandemic disaster we are in will continue for a long time and there will be a collapse in the markets on a global scale, in this context, I expect a structure in the stock as I stated in the chart.. The pattern I draw in the chart can be seen in many stocks, I think the second wave of sales will be more devastating, we will wait and see..

Alibaba: Potential Correction before a Breakout 1D (Apr. 27)X FORCE GLOBAL ANALYSIS:
Alibaba has shown a strong recovery after having locally bottomed due to the Corona Virus (Covid-19). Despite being a Chinese company, the e-commerce giant has not been as severely affected by the gravity of the situation. In this analysis, we take a look at Alibaba's (BABA) technicals and fundamentals to determine the most probable scenario.
Technical analysis
- We have been rejected by the descending trend line resistance marked in the dotted blue line
- The Relative Strength Index (RSI) shows a downtrend, with the formation of lower highs
- The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) shows decreasing bullish histograms, and a potential death cross
- We are seeing a temporary trend reversal to potentially fill the gaps below
Fundamental analysis
- The Corona Virus has impacted the company as fewer people were able to produce and deliver to their customers
- While supply issues have been handled now, there are now questions about how consumer demand for e-commerce products is holding up amid a period of global economic uncertainty and continued unease about germ spread
- Despite the confusion caused by the Corona Virus (COVID-19), Alibaba continues to invest aggressively into Alibaba Cloud
- As governments aggressively digitize services, cloud demand will be stimulated, and it's likely that Alibaba will be one of the beneficiaries
What We Believe
We believe that Alibaba is a strong company to hold for the long term. Alibaba shows strong fundamentals, and aggressive investments for the future that appear prudent. However, technical analysis demonstrates that we could be seeing a small correction for the immediate term.
Trade Safe.
Alibaba Stock Pattern Suggests Uptrend is Almost OverAlibaba Group, $BABA, is a Chinese multinational company specializing in e-commerce, retail, Internet, and technology. Here is what to focus on as we're expecting the earning release on 13th February 2020.
However, Alibaba stock is climbing to a new all-time high from a breakout that makes the bulls very excited about the future. But are they right to feel optimistic? That is the question we hope to answer with the help of the Elliott Wave Principle and the chart below.
Alibaba’s weekly chart reveals the entire price structure from the 2015 bottom at $57.07. As you can see, it is a textbook five-wave impulse, labeled 1-2-3-4-5. The sub-waves of wave 3 and 5 are also visible.
The market apparently took the guideline of alternation into account, too. Wave 2 was a sharp plunge, while wave 4 moved sideways in a triangle correction. Triangles precede the final wave of the larger sequence.
If this count is correct, the current rally must be wave 5. The theory postulates that a three-wave correction in the other direction follows every impulse. For BABA stock, this means we can expect a bearish reversal once wave 5 is over around $250.
The anticipated retracement has the potential to erase the entire fifth wave. A decline back to the support area of wave 4 or even lower is very likely. $130 a share seems like a reasonable target in the next couple of years.
The risk/reward ratio doesn’t look very favorable to the bulls with the stock around $213.

Alibaba Elliott Wave Structure Looking for more downsideElliott Wave view in Alibaba (BABA) shows that the stock has an incomplete bearish sequence from 6.5.2018 high ($211.7). The 100% target in 7 swing comes at $88.3 and this view remains valid as far as the stock stays below 12.3.2018 high ($168.8). Near term, decline from 12.3.2018 high ended a 5 waves structure in black wave ((1)) at $129.10.
Above from there it ended black wave ((2)) bounce at 142.57 peak. After missing the equal legs from 12/24 low (blue box) by a few cents.
The internals of black wave ((2)) unfolded as an Elliott Wave double structure. Where it ended blue wave (W) at 138.94 and blue wave (X) at 133.89. Above from there it ended blue wave (Y) of black wave ((2)) at 142.57 peak.
As long as it stays below that level but more importantly the pivot at 146.34 stays intact, it should continue trading lower. The right side is to the downside.
Alibaba: 2 Month TargetAlibaba for the next week or so may have some small negative correlations due to concerns over trade in China and the recent effects tariffs and political decisions had on Asian markets. That being said, it is coming in on a strong for positive correlations when looking at a 2 month time period. An expectancy of a $150 price tag should occur within January and it seems to have strong stock potential for a very long term hold.
ALIBABA.....TURNING AROUND?As you can see Alibaba moved up on Wednesday just before the support at $164.20. Mainly because of the news that Alibaba launched an Amazon Prime-like concept called 88VIP.
The day before that it was announced that Kroger would partner up with Alibaba to sell their products in China. Such partnership wouldn't be only good for Kroger it would possibly generate more traffic for Alibaba which could result in more revenue in other departments of the E-commerce company.
Most eyes will be focused on the 23rd when the earnings release is due. With the last 4 reports beating estimates I'm fairly confident this one is no exception.
In my opinion Alibaba is set to return to it's previous high's with the "oversold" 10-day RSI in the back of my mind and the recent positive developments on the fundamental side.
First target is set at around $192.30 the second target would be close to $200.
I will follow up if the targets get hit or when it breaks support.
P.S. I'm not telling you what to do always cross-reference with your own analysis. I'm not responsible for your loss.
Alibaba - Looking for a Short EntryCurrently I am looking for the short entry into the Alibaba share. On a weekly basis, the stock would be a correction quite well. In the last 3 years, the course has been training ever higher highs and tripling.
The entry into the shorts would ideally be in the range of $ 198-200 and then would have to be confirmed intraday.
The first target range of the movement would be about $ 170, if necessary, the $ 150 could still be reached.
aliBABA Black SheepIll link a video i made for the fam alongside this, so if you're more interested, check that out. It is about 10 minutes and has some info on the DJI also (2nd part of a 2 part video)
Ima keep this straight forward. None of this surprised me. Before the trade wars even started I knew we would be back down. The only different, is that I did not think we would fall under the yellow line. But knowing that the trade wars were ramping up [ alongside many other problems in the Chinese markets, it was pretty easy to see.
The main thing now, is that we are under the downwards trend line that was formed from the highs earlier in the year. I was surprised that the price went back above the line, but not surprised that it did not stay above it.
I expect the pink area to be the area of major support and a good point to buy back in at. Though TBH, the .75 is probably a bad place, considering that if it hits the .75, it is then under a massive amount of resistance. and there is pretty much 0 reason to buy Alibaba between 159-168 dollars.
I expect to see a wedge with the base price between 172 and 176 dollars.
I'll keep updating though as time goes on.
BABA SHORT OPPORTUNITY Alibaba stock MIGHT have entered its consolidation channel after that majestic 1 year Bull run. I see a good set up/entry with that bear flag forming on the 1H. The RR is really to take the risk on this trade. As usual if you have nothing constructive to add, keep the negativity out.
Trade Safe!!
Alibaba: $200 Price TargetRemember when Alibaba slightly went right towards the $200 mark in January? Now they are having the holiday seasons again for e-commerce and it looks like for a short calling, Alibaba will re-pass a $200 price point. (Even with increasing competition from the Walmart and Flipkart merger). Currently at the $195 price point and a trailing that looks like it will turn positive, I would conservatively call this a short with very little risk.
Alibaba: $200 TargetI believe a $200 price point for Alibaba's stock is going to happen within 30 days. Likely 45 days at the latest. Alibaba has still room to grow as a strong stock position. Jack Ma's plan for expansions in both the technological infrastructure as well as wholesale isn't expected to slow down growth at any time soon. Alibaba overall shows positive health as a company and a conservative holding position as a stock pick. Overall, I expect continued positive correlations even for a long HODL.
